Photographer Profiles
Link Roberts
Link Roberts has been a bike delivery boy, a roofer, a landscaper, a model scout, a studio manager for some of the top Magnum and VII photojournalists. He has worked on fashion shoots, advertising shoots, and portrait shoots. He has traveled to over 30 countries and photographed everything from street children in Haiti to sunrises from the top of Mount Kenya.
Link has driven across the United States four times and dodged landslides while driving around Iceland. He has walked the streets of rural China and braved the hottest deserts in America. He has studied the reefs in Belize, Hondouras, and Hawaii. His eclectic life was inspired even more in his years attending one of the most unique colleges in America, Pitzer College.
Today he is based in New York City specializing in socio-documentary and honest travel photography. His prints hang in homes around the world and numerous patrons bring him on as what they have deemed to be their personal photographer.
His work and reputation in his second home of Fire Island, New York has followed him back to the big city where word of mouth has brought him a number of other clients including National Geographic.
Presently Link is working on a handful of fine art and documentary projects that deal with the interaction of humans and nature and what one does and gives to the other. More ocean imagery is available upon request.
